Kinship connections blog

Our Family

We are a family of four, living in the DC Metropolitan Area. We love spending time together, exploring our city and creating new memories.

Our Hobbies

We have a range of hobbies that we enjoy as a family, including genealogy research, crafting, playing cards, board games and cooking. We love to explore new hobbies and challenge each other to try new things.

Our Community

We are passionate about giving back to our community and volunteer regularly at our recreation center and elementary school. We believe that it's important to support those in need and to make a positive impact in our community.

Kinship Connections Blog

building connections with descendants of our ancestors to celebrate every moment that we have, before we celebrate the moments that we had!

Help Us Honor Titauna “Candi” Benton

Honoring The Life & Legacy of Titauna Benton

Candi was a true warrior! In 2023, after giving birth to her son, she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic inflammatory breast cancer. She fought with faith, joy, and unmatched strength—for her 7 children, her family, and her future. She uplifted everyone around her and always said: “I’m good. I’m fighting. I have faith. This is my year to win!”

Candi passed away with the same grace she lived with. Now we need your help to give her a beautiful homegoing and support the children she leaves behind. Please donate: $BentonFamilyFund or through GoFundMe
